The season's over, and it's time to move on. I must admit, this one was the most depressing season ever. The outbreak of the Coronavirus, the long gap, no drama in the transfer market has had a huge impact on the next season. Not to mention the cancellation of the Ballon d'Or, really made things dull. The Champions League is still the most elite competition, but this season will always be remembered as the one affected by COVID19. I guess almost everything associated with 2020 will. After the Champions League final I often feel bummed out. The tiring season ends, and we are left without club football for 2 months. It's a good time for clubs to reflect, and for fans to take a break, and discuss the transfer rumours. The hype building up to the next season is insane. However, this time it's only a week after the UCL final, football will return. I have to admit, I'm not really excited about 2020/21. No fans really makes it dry and not as good as it was. We do love football nevertheless. It's just that, all the progress I expected has been halted. The "rushed" competitions have left not only the players, but me exhausted as well. Though what can we do. It's just that I'm sorry to say, I'm not hyped up about the next season. But once the season starts, I'm positive the excitement will come back. Real Madrid are a different team heading into 2020/21. They are the Champions of Spain. Quite different from the previous season, when they had just endured one of the worst seasons in history, and total revamp. We expect more this campaign. I guess it's finally time to conquer the Copa del Rey. Along with either La Liga or the Champions League though.
